Tennyson Gallery juries its artists for shows. We support experienced and emerging artists. We give preference to Front Range artists, though we do invite out-of-area artists as well.
Please review our Policies to see if our values fit with your needs.
If you are an artist and are interested in showing your work at the Gallery, please FIRST send your media kit to us via US Postal and/or Email BEFORE attempting to schedule an interview.
Include:
Artist Resume (including shows / dates, juried exhibits / dates, education, mentors, etcetera)
Artist Statement / Bio (What motivates your work and highlights of your creative process)
Sample Works (link to web site, digital CD) with typical retail prices
Artist Response (download PDF below). Gallery retail prices MUST BE NO HIGHER than Artist Direct prices, such as prices you would mark your art for at street fairs or direct to a buyer. Tennyson Gallery is not interested in marking up prices beyond current market value, and does not want to be perceived this way by the public. If Gallery prices set with an artist are found to be higher than Artist direct prices, we will ask you to remove your work.
We do not require artists to have experience in all areas of our interview, but we are looking for artists who are serious about selling their art and developing a successful Gallery relationship. Our Gallery is targeting artwork that sells mostly in the mid-price range, and we do not consider artists who only have work that is over $1000. It is acceptable to have higher priced pieces if they are integrated with lower priced works.
Please be aware that we book our shows several months and up to a year in advance.
